In “Blade: Trinity,” Blade faces his most dangerous enemy yet: Dracula, who is referred to as “Drake” in the film. The vampire nation, led by Danica Talos (Parker Posey), resurrects Dracula, the progenitor of their species, in an attempt to finally defeat Blade and take over the world. Blade, meanwhile, is framed for numerous murders, forcing him to go on the run from both the FBI and the vampires.

As Blade is hunted, he teams up with a group of vampire hunters known as the Nightstalkers, led by Abigail Whistler (Jessica Biel), the daughter of his mentor, Whistler (Kris Kristofferson), and Hannibal King (Ryan Reynolds), a former vampire. Together, they work to develop a biological weapon that could destroy all vampires, including Drake.
