“Prometheus” follows a team of scientists and explorers who embark on a journey to a distant moon, LV-223, following the discovery of ancient star maps in various human cultures. They believe these maps lead to the creators of humanity, referred to as the “Engineers.” The mission is led by the Weyland Corporation, represented by the wealthy and dying Peter Weyland, with the crew including archaeologists Elizabeth Shaw (Noomi Rapace) and Charlie Holloway (Logan Marshall-Green), and the synthetic android David (Michael Fassbender).

Upon arriving on LV-223, the crew discovers a derelict alien spacecraft and a series of mysterious and dangerous artifacts. As they investigate, they encounter hostile alien life forms and uncover disturbing truths about the Engineers’ intentions. The crew grapples with the implications of their discovery, including the dark potential of biological warfare and the origins of human life.
